image: elle decoration uk, november 2008this would be perfect for the empty space in our living room (we moved a bookshelf and have yet to figure out what to do there) but we don't get much light.
anyone have great suggestions for house plants that don't need much light?

succulents seem to do well without much light. . .and maybe philodendrons? Not ficus, though, they love all the light they can get. My Christmas Cactus does fine without much light, too.
hm, i always thought of succulents as light-lovers, but i'll give it a try...we have some cuttings looking for a new home. good idea, thanks!
