we stayed at a friend's farm over the weekend where they had 2 baby pygmy goats. oh man, they're cute.
as soon as we got home curt went to work building me a new oil/spice rack for the kitchen....recycled wood again! i love having piles of scraps to pull from. it feels so rough and ready-to-rumble!
oooh. You should get goats-- they would help tame your forest. I had the experience of cradling a baby angora goat at my sister-in-law's farm and almost cried... so cute and wuzzy.
ReplyDeletei feel so inspired by you guys! we can't wait to become homeowners, and although i'm sure our home wont be as much of a gem as yours is, structurally, i hope to make lots of antique shop and rummage sale visits :) thanks for sharing your wonderful journeys!
ReplyDeleteerin,
ReplyDeletehehe! "structurally" i don't know that i'd call our house a gem. it had good bones back in the day but they've lost a lot of strength...still handsome though.
you'll find your own gem. it may not look like a gem at first (wait till i post more "before" photos) but that's the fun..
stacey,
baby angora? oh man...i'd be a goner...
